So it’s summer time, and you’re lazing around on your couch seeking for some much needed motivation to get up and get going, because it’s too hot and you just want to escape to a better place. Well, I can’t promise a beautiful vacation, but I definitely have someone who would push you to think of the bigger picture in life by his motivational quotes and Success tips.
Presenting success tips from Warren Buffett, the 2nd richest man in the world. He is an American business magnate, investor, philanthropist and is fondly called the “Oracle of Omaha” because he is one of the most successful investors of all time.
Let’s imbibe some wise things from him:
Buffett knows how fragile reputation is and urges people to never be careless about it. Be very careful with your principles. Always be honest with yourself.
Buffett believes in making calculated risks. Set realistic goals, and then fulfill them. Know your ability. Don’t always go for complex, high level goals. Take small steps- but make the most out them.
It’s not a hidden fact that good opportunities knock our doors very rarely. Buffett puts up a very simple yet important point up here while urging everyone to make the most out of golden opportunities.
This one is specially for us youngsters. Very often we buy things we don’t need. Let us pledge to wave a goodbye to the shopaholic in us, for a better Life tomorrow. 😉
Buffett knows his game plan well and urges us to do the same. Be well prepared before setting out to achieve your goal.
You might get confused initially when you read this, but don’t be. Buffett makes a very meaningful statement here. His own investment history over the years makes it pretty evident that he prefers quality over quantity. Even actors like Amir Khan choose very few roles, but makes sure that they give a hit.
Sitting and thinking before making decisions might sound old school to you, or even a waste of time, but Warren Buffett thinks otherwise. Think your decisions through before making them concrete.
This is the wittiest thing Buffett has said, according to me. Hahah.. It simply means that you should be very well aware of the opposite person’s motive. Everyone has their own goals, while you have yours. Trust your motives and go on with them.
Yeah man..This makes so much sense. Like if we never take up new challenges, if we don’t do something new, we are never going to grow. If you need better results, you need to put better efforts at achieving them. 🙂
Buffett strongly emphasizes on the power of “NO” and it’s totally legit. Listen to everyone, but in the end, do what you think is right. Set your own goals. Be driven by your own beliefs- not by someone else’s opinions. Learn to say “No” to wrong things, so that you can say “Yes” to the right things. 🙂
Bet you are about to get up from the couch after getting motivated by this amazing human, but wait!
